Nitin Illiparambil is the founder of Mohawk Advisory, a firm dedicated to serving emerging and middle-market businesses. After years of working at both a Big Four and a national accounting firm, Nitin kept seeing the same problem: this segment of the market was consistently being underserved when it came to high-quality tax and business advisory services. Too often, these companies were left navigating complex tax decisions without the guidance they needed to grow sustainably and efficiently.

Mohawk Advisory was created to fill this void. Nitin brings nearly fifteen years of experience delivering real value for his clients through tax compliance, planning, and advisory services across the real estate, financial services, and consumer goods industries. His clients have included private and publicly traded REITs, private equity funds, joint ventures, operating partnerships, and closely-held businesses. He has advised throughout an entire business life cycle, providing consulting during entity formation, acquisitions, restructurings, distribution arrangements, and liquidations. His deep expertise in partnership and REIT taxation, combined with hands-on CFO consulting experience, have helped clients maximize value and drive meaningful growth.

Beyond his technical work, Nitin prides himself on being an active member of several professional organizations and has contributed to industry publications on topics at the forefront of tax policy and legislation. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Master's Degree in Taxation from Hofstra University and is based in Los Angeles.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and playing tennis.
